Carol Loving is author of My Son, My Sorrow: The Tragic Tale of Dr. Kevorkian’s Youngest Patient.
Her memoir, published by New Horizon Press, in 1998, is a McNaughton Library Choice. In 2001, Castle Rock Entertainment offered NHP a contract for the film rights. NHP passed on the offer.
Miss Loving is an ardent supporter of Dr. Kevorkian, who provided a physician-assisted death for her son, Nick Loving, in 1995. The life altering experience caused her to become an outspoken advocate for the right-to-die movement.
Carol has had extensive experience with media interviews, due to the unprecedented coverage of her 27 year old twin son and the international promotional tour associated with her memoir.

Miss Loving worked with WNYE to produce a physician-assisted death documentary for the Polish Community. She gave Arizona State University the right to print her interview with Pat McMahon in its Communications Department publication, Omega: Journal of Death and Dying.
2010 update:
Miss Loving was interviewed, in 2009, by theater members of Western Michigan University for inclusion in the play, Good Death. The ground-breaking production came about under the direction of Kelli Simpkins, a highly acclaimed talent from the world-renowned Tectonic Theater Project.
